Mixed berry pie and zucchini bread

Summer is the season for gardens and berry picking. And that’s what we’ve been busy doing.

We’ve picked black raspberries and blueberries and made a pie!

We also added some red raspberries. So it’s a 3 berry pie. We made this like a traditional blueberry pie though for the filling.

And we marked a b on the top for berry!

We also made a couple loaves of zucchini bread using zucchini from the garden. The first round of baking is also to sample it and make sure it’s as good as always or if we need to tweek our recipe which is from memory. Then once we know we remembered the recipe correctly we will make a lot more for freezing so we have this delicacy year round.

Of course it tasted yummy. So now we will have to take a day to make as many loaves as we can to put in the freezer!
